A small metallic fly on a leaf. The little guy kept jumping up and down, finally got a shot in when he paused for a moment. :D

Ooh this is a fantastic shot!

The colors are simply stunning, and I think they are a part of what makes this photo so great. I love how the colors of the background seem to 'reflect' the colors of the fly, which is really cool. :aww:

The focus is wonderful, great job getting the fly totally in focus with the background blurred. The details are just..wow. :omg:

The composition is excellent as well, I love how you positioned the fly.

I really can't find anything wrong with it, amazing work! :+fav:

You don't need expensive lenses. Look up Reverse Mount Macro :)

It's not a lens, just a reverse ring. You mount the ring on your camera body, and then mount your lens (the tamrom could work) on the filter thread (the ring where you mount filters).

You can mount ANY lens this way, as long as the reverse mount adapter ring has the right filter thread diameter for your lens.

I've been watching your site for quite some time and I have to say I am taken by surprise again and again by your photographs. You somehow manage to capture the smallest of creatures with an eye that clearly views them with facination and a fresh sence of discovery. I love your work!
