Island Volcano Water Drop

The blue color in the water is a reflection of a plastic toperware top I put as background.

Nikon D70 (sadly I couldn't use my D80 body because I have a generic Bower Flash speed light, and it turns out the D80 can't fv sync in shutter speeds over 1/200 and I kept getting an almost completely black image because the sensor only got exposed less than 10%. I wasted about half the speed light's battery life trying vainly to tweak the flash setup in the D80 menu from TTL to Commander Manual setup, no use, only dedicated Nikon Flash speed lights like the SB600 will sync through fv sync).
f3.5 1/4000 ISO 200.
100mm Macro Vivitar lens.
Tripod for the camera.
Off camera Bower speed light, with extension cable mounted on a tripod.
Wireless shutter release.
One 5000k fluorescent light for fill.

Home made drip setup with a lot of utensils my wife was sure to warn me about washing and that I better not break any.
